Dear Sir and Brother

May I first thank the Brethren for electing me to be Worshipful Master of Glandore for the year 2007.  It is an office I hope to fill to the best of my ability.

When I look through the list of Part Master I realise I have a hard act to follow.

This is a time when Freemasonry is at a crossroads - with falling attendances in all branches of masonry.  Thankfully Glandore does not yet have that problem, but we can't be complacent, so it's up to us all to encourage our friends and acquaintances to become members.  We should show by our actions what Freemasonry is all about.
